Empowering through Farming is the first episode of our campaign Empowering through Earning that was started in 2019. We provided 60 farmers of Kafalghari village of Kaski District with foxtail millet seed (Kaguno, scientific name : Setaria italica ). We offered farmer/kg of seed in free of cost for cultivation in 30 ropani field. Having varied of benifit we decided to chose foxtail millet seed for the campagin. Foxtail millet has a long history of cultivation around the world especially in Asian and African countries, grown for staple food and is valued for its nutritional content and health promoting properties. VISION: EOE is sustainable and long lasting campagin which have the vision for: IOT based Cold store set up; Training for farmers; Proper irrigation set up through water lifting. Achievement: Through this campaign we were able to: 1. Empower farmers through Income Generation regardless of Education level 2. Promote Bio-diversity Conservation 3. Ensure Seeds to Market Service
